Our VMS Winter Formal was held last Friday and during the festivities we crowned our Winter Formal King and Queen for each grade. Coronation candidates -- five boys and five girls from each grade -- were chosen by teachers as being overall good students and good young people, and positive role models for their grade level. Students in each grade level then voted for the king and queen.
Those crowned Winter Formal King and Queen were: 8th Grade -- Sophia Bohannon & Aaden Valdez; 7th Grade -- Kynsleigh Hamm & Jaiden Scales; 6th Grade -- Camila Gonzalez & Kayden Contreras.

A big THANK YOU to the VMS and VHS PTO for delivering delicious s'mores to our teachers and staff on Friday! It brightened everyone's day and is greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your ongoing support of our schools!!

We would like to congratulate Jarrod David for winning the runoff election for Place 3 on the VISD School Board. Jarrod received 241 votes, while Kyle Echols received 159 votes. We thank both Jarrod and Kyle for their interest in serving on our school board.
