Our 4th & 5th grade students showed off the artwork they had worked on this year to parents and family last night during their Art Walk. The artwork was hung throughout the second floor hallways, and there was a steady stream of visitors viewing the displays. We have some very talented artists in these grades!!

Last week, parents of all 5th grade girls should have received a letter from VISD School Nurse Mandie Thomas, RN, concerning a mandatory film concerning the beginning stages of puberty that will be shown on Friday, May 3. The "Always Changing-About You" program is based on national research and consultation with school nurses, health educators, parents and medical professionals. In order for your daughter to view the film, a parent or guardian consent is required. If the letter/consent form did not make it home, or if you questions or concerns, please contact Mandie Thomas at VES.
